With Google’s release of Project Stream this month, there has been a lot of recent interest in low latency game streaming for cloud gaming. These cookies ensure basic functionalities and security features of the website, anonymously. I did have a question because the answer isn't as easy to find as I thought but the hardware encoding, I was googling to see what the hardware that supports h265, what I'd be better off using that or h.Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly. ![]() I can see myself using this even in the house in my living room TV while streaming from my bedroom TV so even just for that the app is already proving itself quite awesome I also did test streaming from my computer to my Android phone and that was absolutely amazing I couldn't believe how smooth it was I had the phone next to me and I was overlooking the television and it was practically like using another input for my computer I managed to host one thing and I think the person that join me has a bad connection but he did manage to join me but unfortunately on his in it couldn't keep up with my 1080p stream so I imagine that his connection was much less than mine. Quickly deploy on-prem or in the cloud, and team members can access their Mac or PC from anywhere. The connection was great there was really little latency the capture quality was outstanding in my opinion but unfortunately the user wasn't entirely sure how to configure everything but that was probably the smoothest experience. Parsec’s peer-to-peer streaming provides secure, flexible, effortless access to whatever you do, at any time, from wherever you go. It adds your basic reliability semantics like TCP, but with a highly tuned and custom congestion control algorithm. It is based off of UDP and encrypted with DTLS 1.2 (via OpenSSL). ![]() I think the hardware encoding and connection are going to be the biggest things for me because I played with two people when it worked on top of just trying to figure out how to get it to function because it's my first time, one user had a compressed video and the other one was actually smooth he was playing Mario kart on an N64 emulator. BUD is our proprietary networking protocol built with one goal in mind low latency, interactive game streaming from anywhere. ![]() I tried this last night and came away impressed but it wasn't entirely smooth. ![]()
